First LPA Student Challenge for 2014-15
The Lisa Pritchard Agency (LPA), one of the UK’s leading photographers agent and shoot producers has just announced their first challenge for 2014/15 in their Student Challenges competition, offering photography students industry experience, exposure and inspiration, kick starting many photography careers.
This year’s first challenge calls for submissions of images on the theme of ‘challenge', with the winning image being used to promote the rest of the competition. In addition, the winner will attend a live casting or location recce, plus a day on the set of the shoot, as part of the LPA Photoshot Experience, and a seasonal goody bag too. The winner and details of the second challenge will be announced on 28 November.
Established in 2010 the LPA Student Challenges are open to anyone studying photography in the UK and set a series of three challenges each year between October and May. The competition strives to help in the sometimes challenging transition from student to self-employed photographer by offering prizes in the form of invaluable industry experience days including The LPA Photoshoot Experience, The LPA Portfolio Critique and The LPA Marketing Masterclass, a bespoke portfolio worth over £1000 from Delta Design, a copy of Lisa’s indispensable book Setting Up a Successful Photography Business, goody bags plus industry exposure.
Take a peak at one of last year’s winners Edd Fury who won amongst other wonderful prizes a portfolio of his image which were printed courtesy of us at Metro Imaging after spending a short time with our retouch department getting every image just right.
Closing date for the first challenge is 12th November 2014.
