Non archival surfaces such as MDF and foamex are prized for durability, MDF for rigidity, Foambard for lightweight versatility. Foamboard

Sizes up to 84" x 48" in 5mm or 10mm


Foamboard is a lightweight mounting material used for large hanging signs and displays or as a smooth and rigid substrate for framing photographs. Prints mounted to foamboard may be attached to the wall using velcro or small nails. Surprisingly sturdy and very light. Turn around time: Five working days from print time

Foamex

Sizes up to 120" x 60" in 3mm or 5mm

Foamex is ideal if you need a robust material that will suffer a few hangings without denting or complaining. Made of solid PVCis is often used for simple, non archival purposes such touring shows or public exhibitions. Mounted prints can later be framed if required. Turn around time: Five working days from print time



MDF

Sizes up to 60" x 40" in 9mm or 12mm

Commonly used by museums for information boards, this material is extremely rigid, durable and perhaps rather heavy in the larger sizes. Perfect for  adding a chunky look to small prints. Supplied with wooden battens, this is a complete finish that will last. Turn around time: Five working days from print time
