Accent Magazine Exhibition to launch Issue Six

Metroprint is delighted to be the sponsor of Accent Magazine’s first exhibition which opens in London this week.

The exhibition marks the launch of Issue Six of the magazine and features selected documentary portraiture offering a first-hand insight into some of the diverse stories from the issue.

Accent Magazine is an online archive of the most exciting unconventional documentary portraiture today and a global celebration of lives lived outside the ordinary. Curated by Lydia Garnett and Lucy Nurnberg it flies the flag for the free spirits, unabashed eccentrics and radical mavericks of this world, it is a platform for documentary portrait stories about those who dare to buck the conventions of their surroundings.

The C Type prints for the exhibition have been produced through Metroprint and include Andrew Waits’s extraordinary archive of RV and van-dwellers across the Western United States, Noelle McCleaf’s photographic tribute to the wise matriarchal ancestors who came before us as well as original paintings and interviews from Margaret Pepper and Katie Xanda, two pioneering trans artists and best friends.

KK Outlet, 42 Hoxton Square, London N1 6PB

Exhibition Dates: 8th - 16th August 2014
