Recently announced the winners of the longest standing photographic exhibition of its kind, having been held almost every year since 1854.

Almost 5,000 images were submitted for the competition which is open to student, amateur and professional photographers from anywhere in the world.  The shortlisted entrants for the final selection of 100 prints for the exhibition represented photographers from 20 different countries.

Gold Medal (£1000): Jan Klos (Poland)
Under 30s Gold Medal (£1,000 & 12 month mentorship with Metro Imaging Ltd): David Severn (UK)

Metro is delighted to support this prestigious competition by awarding David Severn a bespoke 12-month mentorship prize.

Additionally we produced large scale Direct to Media vinyl prints of the four winning images for the final exhibition which is currently showing at the Royal Albert Hall in London before embarking on a tour around the UK until the middle of 2016.
